Almonds!
I just flew from Duluth to MSP on my way to DCA. We were offered a number of snack choices including roasted almonds! A small, but welcome change.

hopefully, spinzels (and pepsi) were still being served. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

If almonds are now available, can cashews be far behind! Hooray!

Why would you want almonds, cashews, caviar, smoked salmon, etc when you can have....
SPINZELS! (death to the Spinzels) ------------------ Addicted to airline miles? Check out: Mileage Workshop --- "You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer." - Frank Zappa (1940-93) |
There were spinzels, almonds and something else that I didn't notice. So we had a choice of 3 snacks on a 30 minute flight! I'm sitting at gate C3 in MSP right now, connected up via the wireless network in MSP, waiting for the next leg of the flight. We'll see if the 2 hour flight to DCA offers as many choices.

How does the wireless network work in MSP? Can any laptop with the 802.11b wifi card tap into the netwrok freely? Or is there special access / charges involved?

I don't know where all the hotspots are, but there is good reception the retail shop area, gates C1-C10 and all the other concourses. Just plug in your card, turn on your laptop and launch a browser. You will automatically receive a sign-on end-user-license agreement asking you to agree and provide your CC number for $7.95. [This message has been edited by goblue (edited 09-19-2002).] |

Ahem. Moon Moon is a she.
Originally posted by goblue: Moon Moon probably thought of almonds, naturally assumed that almond cans would make fine hi-gain antennas, and naturally transitioned his thinking to 802.11b. That is my guess anyway. [This message has been edited by goblue (edited 09-19-2002).] |
