If they do, the machines must have been broken on both of my 777 flights last week. I was in BF and there was coffee, but no offers of espresso or anything like it.
The CO BF menu should have mentioned espresso/cappuccino. I know they are fidgety machines and FA's hate to make them, so that could have been the excuse if you asked and they said no. (I always ask as soon as I get on if the machine is working and tell/warn the FA I'll be ordering a cappuccino later on. Another tip is to ask for some of the hot fudge or caramel from the sundaes mixed in....yum!) |
I'm surely no coffee aficionado, but I don't mind the stuff that is served on-board right now. To me, it's really not that horrible. But then again, I do take into account the altitude, water quality, ability to heat the water hot enough, etc. so I'm not expecting the best cuppa ever.
But also, I am a huge advocate of featuring local businesses on-board the aircraft, so I would whole-heartedly welcome featured brews from Caribou or Dunn Bros. (excellent suggestion on that one!) |
