My NWA Diet...

Ok, so lots of people have probably done this before but yesterday, all food and beverage taken in for me was provided by NWA. I feel malnourished.

I had:
MCO-MEM
Coffee, Granola bar

Mem WorldClub - Bagel & Creamcheese, Coffee

Mem-MKE
Coffee, Granola Bar

MKE WorldClub -
Cheese/Crackers

MKE-MSP
Nothing

MSP Worldclub -
Cabernet and Cheese/Pretzels

MSP - MCO
Pot Roast Dinner - Blegh! THe salad dressing was good.

Now I get to go this AM and fly MCO-DTW and have breakfast!

We (being pax) can't take on liquids... but can we take on nutrition bars, or other solid foods?

I have seen numerous people carrying on food in the last 24 hours. But I have only had gate screening once, and I don't know if they were removing the food from carry-ons as I boarded right away.

I think all solids are a-ok.

My diet in the last 24 hours:

MSP "C" WorldClub:
2 oatmeal cookies, 1 pkg. crackers, 1 cheese pkg., 1 pkg. carrots, 2 waters

MSP-PHL (on US):
1 ginger ale, 2 pkg. pretzel braids

PHL-SYR (on US):
2 waters

--5 hours of sleep in SYR--

SYR-DTW (NW):
1 spicy tomato juice, 1 Quaker "Low Fat Baked Apple" chewy granola bar

DTW WorldClub (new C concourse location):
1 hot chocolate

If I don't make my next flight (I'm standing by for an earlier flight), I think I'm going to go get some "real" food...or as real as airport vending can get.

Thanks for the update/observation (re: food) Schmutzig...I was wondering about that. Being a health Nazi I usually try to bring a sandwich/Zone bar with me to the airport and on the plane, rather than buying the less healthy and tremendously more expensive airport offerings.

The heights of idiocy we're reaching truly are insane.

My sarcasm detector is malfunctioning, so I can't tell if that is sarcasm. But I was just following the lead from OP.

Nah, no sarcasm at all. I genuinely appreciate knowing what you've seen this week. I was off, but I've got several trips next week and I was wondering if I'd be able to take my normal foodstuffs.

Still on a run myself too!

MCO-DTW was a Pasta Salad or nasty reuben looking thing. Took the pasta

DTW Main Terminal WC - Cappucino.

I can't take it anymore, I gotta get a steak.

This Forum has officially reached new lows...

What's next - a detailed report on the size, color and consistency of deposits made in the WC?

Oh, what, those of us without WorldClub access don't count?

Thanks for the very insightful and helpful post.

DTW-SEA today in F:
Probably the same pot roast dinner that lambrettaStar had. I actually thought mine was half decent, but it could have been a different caterer or prepared differently. I agree that the salad dressing was very good (Roasted Red Pepper Vinegarette). Chocolate cake tasted like half-baked brownie batter. to me, to some, I'm sure.
