OK, I like DTW a lot too, BUT, there are two (related) problems with it -

1) The meditation room is terrible! Its hard to find, its via an elevator that implies only staff can ride it, and down a long, non-descript corridor into an ugly room that doesn't feel... inspiring of meditation, for sure.

2) There is no airport observation room like there is at MSP (or at least I haven't found it yet - is there one somewhere at DTW?)

Now, I haven't checked on MSP's meditation room (is there one?) but with the airport observation room I don't need to (and don't ask why....)

1) Where is the observation room at MSP ---

2) At DTW, you get nice views from the North and South World Clubs and from either end of the A concourse.... (I haven't been to puddle jumper land since it was expanded).

I just went through DTW for the first time since the new NW terminal was opened. What an awesome improvement!!!

Above Terminal D, look for the little sign. Good views of landing and take-off, and usually very quiet - good for meditation!

Nothing like the views from the MSP Observation Room though..... :)
