ECV voucher question, help please!

Hello,

I have 2 ECV voucher given to me from customer relation with my name on it, can I use this toward pet fee (traveling with pet) at the airport? I spoke with res. they weren't sure but they told me it's up to the airport and they (NW at airport) could access ECV from their computer? hmm.

Or another word , has anyone use their electronic ECV voucher at the NW airport ticketing counter?

Thanks,

J

What's the version? If it's a DB210, it's only applicable to the purchase of a fare (not services?) in the name of the holder (if memory serves). Don't believe it can be used for other services on that fare, such as baggage overage, pet fees, unaccompanied minor fees, etc.

But do let us know!

It does not have a version, it came from an email at NWA customer relation.

Thanks,

J

I have used ECV's at the ticket counter before, so that should not be an issue. You want to make sure that you have the number with you that was included in the email from Customer Care so the people at the counter can pull it up easily.

My assumption is that you have a $150 credit on the voucher...just a guess :) If this is the case then I do not see why they wouldn't let you use if for the pet fee. The voucher simply has to be used by person who's name is referenced on it, and cannot be used for a ticket for someone else.

Good luck!

I'm curious, how much is the pet fee?

I was under the presumption that every 012- ECV has a rate or version of some kind. DB-, PK-, whatever. Does it show up in your "unused voucher" screen, in your online FF account?
