I have to agree paying 25 bucks or so for an extra row would be worth it. The downside I see is when the flight is cancelled, now you have another issue to deal with. I paid for an exit row I want my exit row. I have seen this problem with F. When a flight is canacelled and rebooked. All airlines make it a pain at that point. Call refunds and they will give you a refund. Then it is a fight over how much since they look at the full Y fare.
