Hello everyone. I have visited and read some of the posts here in the past. So I asked my dad, if I could become and FT member. I have met some FT members on various flights, in world clubs and in Singapore. I am finally able to deposit my first post. I am 12, and am a Northwest Gold Elite. I first became silver in 1998 when I was not quite 6 yet. About three years ago I became gold and have been gokld since then. My little brother is 7 and and has also been a Gold Elite since he was 3 or 4. I registered, with my dad' permission, at FlyerTalk on our way back from a trip to Singapore. I have been busy with school. School ended last week but I have to attend a program called QUEST (Quality Education in Science and Technology). I am looking forward to be a member of this family as and when time from school work, Play Station, Nintendo and swimming allows me a diversion.

And me the second! BTW, under Help at the top of the NW forum webpage over on right-hand side is a Glossary that explains lots of codes and abbreviations used around this community. I'd recommend running through it to familiarize yourself with some of the terms.

And, again welcome to Flyertalk and the Northwest forum in particular. I'm sure you'll find yourself at home here. Though my guess would be that you'd be one of the youngest members we have around here?

In any case, welcome.

Welcome! I'm sure you're not the only young FTer but odds are, you're probably one of the youngest. Like you, I've been flying transpacific flights since I was a kid and flew from Boston to Tokyo on my own for the first time when I was 13. I was stuck in Chicago for 5 hours on that trip, which was exciting for a boy travelling alone.

I hope you continue to enjoy flying. I'd love to read about some of your experiences in the Trip Reports section, especially since I plan to visit Singapore and Kuala Lumpur for the first time this August.

Again, welcome to FlyerTalk!

Thanks for the welcome. Not if my little brother will let me help him post. He is 7 and a Gold. He was very pleased when he got is Silver card. Now he wants Platinum.

Thanks very much for the warm welcome, even if it wasn't the first.

NRT-SIN runs, though brutal have their rewards, not just in terms of miles. I love the food in Singapore. Singpaore is a good jumping board to other destinations like Mellacca and Kuala Lumpur. We did the overnight KUL-SIN run on the train, in First, two years ago. How many days do you plan to be in KUL?
