I guess it must mean something to them! I always find these requests interesting. SPG has always been very aggressive to get the vote and then turns around and uses the results for their own promotions.

I voted for the Red Tail!

User interface for the survey is terrible :td:.

Hope my vote helps.

I'm glad NW's pushing for the Freddies. Perhaps they want to be like Continental and have all those banners around MSP/DTW displaying Best Elite Program? :D

How can anyone vote for NWA.... the only Platinum level program that offers NO international upgrades and the worst international award availability in Business.

Northwest: The best domestic upgrade program of the Legacy carriers!

I have been very, very happy with the NW Worldperks program.

Worldperks offers tremendous free upgrade opportunities, fantastic promotions, and very good elite line agents!

I agree with RC

I've read ALOT about the pissing & moaning about a lack of award seats. But with a little flexibility & forethought I've never been disappointed. In fact I just got back from HNL on two standard award FC tickets.

Color me happy. ;)

NW generally treats me well, so if this makes them happy, I'll turn in my votes. My votes are for NW and Hilton.

While I have no intention of leaving NW, I could not in good conscious give them any encouraging marks for the way they handled the recent changes to our program. While other FF programs are actually enhancing their 2005 guidelines, NW did nothing more than regurgitate 2004's and devaluated miles earned all the while calling it an enhancement. :(

IMO if we all jump on the NW band wagon and tell them how superior they are next years cuts will even be worse. I would rather see NW go down in the polls and have them rethink some of their decisions, maybe even add some actual enhancements.

The best I saw this year was warmed over left overs from last year. The worst I say was our FF miles devaluated.

Votes for SPG & Hhonors will be easy!
Happy Travels!

can you explain what you mean?

I think what he/she means is that WP has changed their award travel pricing & have significantly raised the prices for awards. This is costing us more miles to get to places that it doesn't cost nearly as much on other carriers. Similar to what BA did a few years back...

I had about 290K on BA & the plans that I had for them significantly changed when BA changed their award structure. It's simple economics - more miles out there = more demand; more demand = less seats; less seats = higher award travel prices; higher award travel prices = more annoyed customers; more annoyed customers = not getting top marks on the freddie awards &....

Domestic coach rewards remain unchanged but FC rewards/upgrade will go up. International rewards/upgrades are going up.

Interestingly:

Domestic coach ~$300 or 25,000 WPMs
International WBC ~$7,000 or 100,000 WPMs (MSP-AMS)

NW basicaly wants more miles for a more expensive product.

I just voted NW "accross the board".

I wonder how many voters vote for same airline/hotel for all catagories?

Also, does anybody know if you pick a vote and put a "1" as the level if that actually hurts that selection, or is it still a vote "for", but just not as good as a "10".

I voted NW across the board. I've been very happy with its customer service and reward availability (I only use miles for international upgrades). I have never had a problem getting an upgrade from either CO or NW and I've blown over 700k miles in the past few years on upgrade seats, many on very highly traveled routes. If you plan well and use creative routing, you can get the seats.

Also, in my 6 years as CO Gold/Plat, the few times I complained (4 or five in that entire time), I received a form letter response. The first time something happened with NWA this year, I got a very personalized response and a few extra miles (I don't really need more miles, but it was a very nice gesture).

That's highly flawed. The award chart is zone-based while regular fares are most certainly not.

Try getting TLH-ANC for ~$300, or YHZ-EUG...

Similarly, there are WBC fares like BKK-MSP for ~$3000, half the ~$7000 figure.
