Changes to view reservations on nwa.com

Sorry if this has been posted previously. I noticed today that when you log on to worldperks and choose the view reservation tab (no my info), it now automatically brings up a list of all reservations instead of having to choose month of travel &/or confirmation number. The other nice change is that one of my reservations is for travel on Malaysian Airlines, and it now includes more detailed information, including flight time, miles, aircraft etc.

Nice enhancement! :)

That is a great enhancement! Much easier to get around. Also, the reservations have more details. No need to click around to see seats and plane types. Even class of service is there!

If only you could change seats on non-NWA.com reservations. :(

I'm not seeing this ... I still get the old system... maybe they were testing it and rolled it back?

Yeah I noticed that a few hours ago too....love it

Now all of the sudden it's coming up for me. Sweet.

Also noticed that "Total Mileage Since Enrollment" is back on Account Summary.

I never noticed it disappearing.

But you now cannot change your seats online. :( It never gives you the options to where you can change your seat, unless you are checking in. I keep ending up in a loop that never gets me to the page that they say I should see. Maybe this is coming soon. (Please let me change my seat again)

nice addition

Not only showing my NW booked reservations, but a CO booked trip with one NW leg in the fall. This is an MR that took advantage of CO's great fares to Bali in September (learned about it here on FT). LAX-HNL-GUM-HKG on CO, HKG-DPS on CX, DPS-NRT on JL, and NRT-LAX on NW with CO number.
I guess this information got passed into NW's system from Expedia, where I had to buy the ticket (CO couldn't come up with the price) because the seat numbers on the CO flights are the ones that were automatically assigned, not the ones I changed to.
OTOH -- it doesn't show an all CO metal mileage run that I am taking, but also using my Worldperks number for.

Maybe I am missing something, but I still get the same old "Enter the month" etc

I think I just figured this out:

To see the new feature, first click "LOGIN" at the very top of the page and then go to the "View/Change Reservations" page.

Once you are logged-in, and if you want to access reservations info the old way (if, for some reason, you want to enter a confirm #, maybe because your reservation doesn't have your WP #), click "LOGOUT" at the very top of the page and then go to the "View/Change Reservations" page.

This works for me this morning, hope it works for everyone else.

Yea, I had the same thing happen to me...you need to be logged into basically "everything" on NWA.com... seems that there are alot of systems behind the website that aren't interconnected... basically is the reason behind the whole "R" fiasco...

copied from this weekend's NWA newswire:

Enhancements Made to nwa.com

Northwest has added several enhanced customer features and conveniences to nwa.com "View Reservations." Customers can take advantage of the following enhancements:

All customers can view their Northwest reservations, regardless of original booking source or ticket type. This includes positive space and standby (non-revenue) reservations.
Automatic display of all active reservations for customers logged in to nwa.com
Addition of four local Asian languages: Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean
All reservation detail, including seat assignments, consolidated on one page
New display of special reservation service requests such as wheelchair assistance, pet requests, special meal requests, unaccompanied minor and passport information
New display of waitlisted flight requests
To aid alliance customers, new "check-in with" advisories and both the operating and marketing carrier flight numbers are displayed
Added new quick link icons for customers to print their itinerary, e-mail their itinerary to others, or view frequently asked questions
"Smart" links offer customers services unique to their reservation: check-in for e-ticket customers within check-in range, change flight service for e-ticket customers, and irregular operations rebooking services if a cancelled flight exists.

"View reservations" is available in English on all nwa.com web sites. It is available in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean on the worldwide sites.

Now if only Northwest's computers would follow my "Elite Traveler Profile" and give me a window seat everytime I get upgraded (rather than an aisle seat, which I have gotten 100% of the time this year, even 90 days out on a paid F ticket), I'd be a happy man.

Until then, this might suffice for now :D

aloha
