Using Credit Card Derived FF Miles For Upgrades
I have both Continental Airlines Mastercard and Visa credit cards which I have accumulated over 150,000 frequent flyer miles. In Dec 03 I booked a R/T coach flight for my wife and I (on-line) to Las Vegas in Mar 04. I want to upgrade to first class using non Elite miles. One-Pass operators keep turning me away stating no seats available and no waiting lists available. Something isn't right. They won't even let me pay additional to upgrade fare classes. If I talk to 10 different One Pass operators I get 10 different answers. I know there are First Class seats available by checking my flights on-line as if I were paying full first class rates. Four months in advance booking!!!
Any suggestions????
