Onefreeman, I wasn't saying that ***uchans posts were any of these things. I was just stating that other some other boards are moderated and FlyerTalk has not been in the past. For the record, I too have enjoyed ***uchans posts and have no problem with his name.

Right, down to business, I think we have made our point very ably, hopefully WebFlyer Corp or Inc or whatever it is will take notice of our concerns, after all this board is here to keep WebFlyer the premier provider of FF information and therefore ensure we buy their magazines and products.

It is by no means a philanthropic endeavour.

Merry, while I agree that getting back to "mormal discussions" is warranted, I don't think this will be put to bed until there is a public acknowledgment of our concerns.

*Is what's going on Censorship or not? I don't know what to saw. It concerns me but I think there's a soluation... Read this:
*May I propose (And I probably have no power to do it) That if a post has to be deleted that we get some kind of brief explaination (the posting was offensive) and not just take it off. It's very disconcerting to see empty spaces. (It can be somethign as simple as "the information is irrelevent.")
*And on a second note: maybe allow us to post either here or via e-mail if we have a disagreement on the editing.
*Rudi: I could never see any reason to edit anything you do. You are among the least dangerous people on the board (ME after tonight I may be deleted forever!)

Catman: Rudi is actually one of the most dangerous people on this board (and that's a good thing!). He gets us thinking about doing all sorts of things we might not otherwise think of doing. With his frequent flyer commando "beating the system" tips, I am sure he has made more dangerous (to the airlines and cabbies anyway) Flyer Talkers than all of us combined. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I'd like to personally comment on the issue of ***UCHAN. This gentleman did gracefully alter his original UserName to our concern many months ago and I think he's proven to be a valauble contributor to this bulletin board. With that in mind, I'm closing this thread off and ask that you all get back to chatting about the issues at hand. ***uchan, thanks for all your input on issues important to the frequent flyer.

I hope you all understand that due to the tremendous posts that this area commands, we have over 30 employees in my office trying to assist and monitor the various areas. I think what haapened is that one of the employees got on to ***UCHAN recently because of another member complaint to the name and started this all over without realizing that I was fine with the current situation. I am fine and my comments above regarding his contributions are welcome. Back to posting the things that are important and I will personally apologize to all for this getting dragged up again.
