How interesting. I was just shopping for a fare for NYC from LAX. And by being a very busy route I thought that I could find competitive rates. But then again, since they are probably 90% for business rates are kept pretty high.

Tim

ps. I think I need a "Arturonese" thesaurus.

kyklin Mar 30, 1999 2:04 pm

I think arturo attends the "do (as I say, not as I) do" school of management...

management by mushrooms definition (sorry for an inadequate translation from german):

- let your people in the dark,
- daily distribute some "sh it",
- when they are grown up, cut their heads.

FYI (sorry to go non-omni, but pandering to CATMAN)

CO's EWR-LAX fares for the end of the year (I've been pricing October for tht last few months) just got cut in half - $3xx down from $6xx..

arturo Mar 31, 1999 8:18 am

Catman Mar 31, 1999 11:39 am

Thank you NJDavid for getting us back on topic (if only temporarily!)

Now if CO is reducing rates, I'm wondering if the other airlines will follow!

OMNI: This cat does not care about mushrooms or whatever else that's not travel related on this forum! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

baobab Mar 31, 1999 2:11 pm

If you eat the right type of mushrooms they can make you fly...

sorry Catman, but I couldn't resist. I will go back to being a meece now.
