Requested a CO Platinum match of my UA 1K status and received it in three days. I sent all necessary info by e-mail (copy of 1K card, pdf of my MP summary, address and phone info.) Worked like a charm.
Thank you FT for this extremely useful thread.

Does anyone know what the cut-off date at CO is for getting the additional year through status match? June 30th? and what would be the end day of the year? i.e. by when should I submit to get into 2011 and what would be the expiry date?

Extremely good. I was matched to NW Gold without any issues and never looked back.

I recently received Plat status with USAir... not sure why...

I sent that info to Delta, AA and Cont requesting OA match... all asked for copies of my USAir activity statement.

In other words, not an automatic match like it use to be.

Does one wait patiently for 4 weeks, or did you contact them after a week or two?

I ask since I faxed my request in over a week ago, and nothing yet on my account. Am happy to wait, but wondering whether I should 'encourage' things along or sit tight?

thanks,

tb

Patience is a virtue. :D It was torture not to call, but apparently 1 month is par for the course.

He he:D

I'll try to be patient then...let's see how long I last..

About 7 weeks ago I submitted by mail to DL,
a letter requesting match to my UA-1K,
with printed card image and account history pages.

After no reply by DL, I assumed RQ was rejected,
and was today transferring DL to NW miles,
where I have at least minimal status to play with.

When viewing DL site, I was shocked to see PM status.
Nice surprise, and a rare match, judging by previous posts.

It's been three weeks since I submitted my UA Premier match to NWA. I'm hoping it will go through soon so I can go ahead and merge accounts...
I'm afraid if I merge it it might screw it up.

Check your account OnLine

If you have an DL or NWA account number check your status online at delta.com. My wife and I just went through the process for US to DL and were told that it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Less than a week later I checked our accounts online and they were both "Gold Medallion".

I think the 4 to 6 weeks has more to do with the production and mailing porcess rather than the decision process.

I did status match in Feb and CO gave me Platinum.
These 2 days, I was downgraded to non-elite.
The agent asks me to call back tomorrow.
Does anyone have the same situation?

DL and NW's status match processes are still separate and distinct. SkyMiles handles DL matches and NW handles NW matches. So while SkyMiles generally processes within a week or two, NW does seem to take a bit longer.

I called Co this morning and they said they contacted UA and couldn't verify my
1K status with UA. They said that United Airlines said that I am not an elite with them........ What the fxxx.....
The supervisor of CO also said that I am the only one has this problem.....
what the hexx..................
It's fortunately that I haven't booked other trips with them.
I will wait and see what will happen.
If they don't match, I won't take CO anymore.

The other question is should they verify my statues with UA first and then match later?
They said they usually gave the status first and then verify.
If there is any problem, they will cancel the match later.
Is this ture?

I have the same question. Does anyone know the cutoff date? And is it even possible to get CO to match DL before *A merger is done?
