How does UA and CO compare in status match?

If a DL GM wanted to get a match, would it be better to try to match on CO before or after UA takes over?

Actually contemplating an SFO-HKG trip in November and CO seems to have a pretty good option.

Can I match co plt to dl plt if I currently hold status with delta as a silver?
I have never matched to delta but if this is my last chance at.matching before they go to challenges it might not be a bad IDEA IF PERMISSIBLE. I didn't mean for thY to be in caps.

Is CO still matching? Delta just announced the most customer unfriendly change to its Skymiles program and I am seriously looking at CO/UA. I am Delta Diamond, so what would be the matched tier at CO?
