Yes. 24 points per long haul round-trip with the online bonus. I know TrueBlue points expire after 12 months, so that's why I plan to purchase the additional points needed to surpass 100 before my points expire.

Continental requires 25K. I would also recommend choosing Continental over Delta, and flying to EWR.

It might be worth it for you to shop around for the best frequent flyer program in the alliance of whatever airline you choose (Oneworld if AA, Star if UA/US, or Skyteam if DL/NW/CO*).

*Continental will join the Star alliance a short time after the Delta/Northwest merger. So if you choose Continental, you're tied to Onepass. Sorry.

The Delta/NWA merger could go through as soon as like march next year since they just received shareholder approval. I'm hoping for this to go through ASAP; Continental's joining the Star Alliance is entirely conditional upon the merger going through.

SaverPass is really hard to come by when I want a nonstop flight on a specific date, even though I would prefer Continental to EWR since I go to school in New Jersey.

If American, United, and US fares go down, I will consider them. Northwest doesn't fly nonstop from SFO to JFK. Continental has competitive fares compared to Delta and JetBlue, but its rewards program is not as good as Delta's or JetBlue's. That's why I have narrowed it down to those two.
