Madgalena, thanks for reviving this thread, but couldn't you have done it three weeks earlier? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

It was 3 weeks ago I paid my State Farm homeowners yearly premium with a check. That's 1300 miles I could have had. Oh, well, now I know.

Well, I have MetLife for auto, homeowners and a balloon liability policy. I don't get miles or anything, but they do automatic debits from my checking account. The big bonus is that they debit on a monthly basis... so you don't have to pay all of the money up front.

I love it.

Beware of cheap rates to lure you into signing up---then in year 2 the rates go thru the roof. It happened to a friend of mine who switched to Liberty Mutual. I myself have done some shopping around since insurance rates in Texas are out of control---after reading the fine print, I am staying with State Farm for the time being. ( Incidentally,State Farm is NOT writing new H/O policies in Texas.)

I know GMAC offers AA miles for auto insurance quotes. The price for the insurance was ridiculously high, but I got the 500 or whatever miles for getting the quote even though I didn't accept it....

Add TIAA to the list for life insurance premiums

TIAA (Teachers insurance and Annuity Association) accepts life insurance premiums by credit card. You must set up automatic payment on a quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis. VISA or Mastercard only.
