Inside Flyer Promotion - 3,500 Diners Club Points
I just wanted to let everyone know that through the end of October Inside Flyer is offering 3,500 Club Rewards points for a subscription to our frequent flyer package. This package costs $59.95 and includes a 1 year subscription to Inside Flyer magazine and also a copy of the Official Frequent Flyer Guidebook. There is also no limit to the number of packages that can be purchased. See http://www.insideflyer.com/diners for more details.

Would it be possible for IF to post the Diners points by Aug 31?
|
Here we go again.
Deal appears to be best for British Airways flyers, given that current Club Rewards promo offers 1,000 points for 1,000 points. (many other airlines it's 2,000 club rewards to 1,000 airline points) |
I think our team is posting points as fast as they can and if you are comtemplating ordering for the purpose of BA conversion we think that is possible if buying and reading InsideFlyer now. The first order came from a member of this board for 286 subscriptions - something about one million points/miles for dream family vacation. Yep, here we go again.
|
As a 'point' of reference, we have all ready made our first transmission to Diners for the orders that have been taken since Friday.

Is there a limit on the number of Diner Club points you can transfer to BA before this promo gets over ? I understand currently it is at 1 is 1 ratio.

Just hope Concorde flights weren't in that dream vacation grand plan. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif |
From the slightly misleading fine print on the site (see below), I gather this is for US members only... will there be something similar for non-US members? (Starwood! I hear the crowd chant)

Yes I would vote for Starwood

DC 2500 points= Starwood 750 points
DC=BA 1:1 for promotion has always been a winner, but with the massive increases in BA's 'marquee' award redemptions- long haul/intl. Business and First routes, my enthusiasm has been tempered. |
Hi, I was just wondering (newbie that I am http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif ), how I would make this into a nice deal. Thanks.

Thanks.</font> 2. 1 First Class R/T on BA = 150,000 miles (US-Europe) 3. 150,000/3500 ~ 43 subscriptions. 4. 43 * $59.95 = $2577.85. If that'a worth a BA F r/t, go for it! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif And where are my manners? Welcome to FlyerTalk! [This message has been edited by BigLar (edited 08-06-2003).] |
Don't forget the DC redemption charge of $.95 per 1000 miles transferred, so you'd have an extra $142.50 cost for the DC mile transfer to BA.
