In answer to everyone's qustions:
The 8th Edition of the Official Frequent Flyer Guidebook should be available at the end of September. You do have access to the online edition while you are waiting for your new copy if you have purchased a package in the past (and should have received access) which is located at http://www.flyerguide.com. If you do not remember the access information, contact customer service at http://www.flyerguide.com/contact.html. My understanding is that there is no limit on the amount of points to miles transfer for the BA promotion, but they must be transferred in increments of 2,000. This has been verified on both the Diners Web site and also with Diners customer service. Yes the BA transfer promotion is a US Members only deal. The current 1,000 Point Starwood offer is available at http://www.insideflyer.com/starwood [This message has been edited by Karen @ WebFlyer (edited 08-06-2003).] |
I've just placed by order today - hopefully I'll get my 3500 points before month's end http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

There should be no reason why this should not happen!

Does anyone know if there are ever any promotions with Inside Flyer and American Express Membership Rewards? I don't have a Diners Club card and hate to get another card with a membership fee. Ya'll are always so helpful. Thanks so much for all of the info.

Got an answer from Inside Flyer via email.
The offer is for US Diners cards only. Strangely they asked me which site it was unclear at! pmcg |
Thank you all for your help. I appreciate your responses.

Great deal and the points posted so quickly! Thanks!

Is there still a chance that any Insider Flyer DC purchases made by 8/19 or 8/20 will post to DC by 8/31/03? Would like to transfer to BA before the month-end deadline.
|
Call and ask -- I think others have found folks at Inside Flyer very accomodating and aware of the deadlines involved. They seem to be posting points very quickly for this promo.
|
We have just received a confirmation from Diners that all orders submitted by Inside Flyer to Diners Club on the 28th will be processed on the 30th and all points will be posted to accounts sometime on the 31st. At that point in time since there are not live Diners reps on the weekend, you will need to go online to the Diners site at
http://www.clubrewards.dinersclubus.com to make the transfer request for the BA offer. You would click on the Air Travel link on the left, then click on Points-to-Miles option which will display all of the current offers. By following this process and submitting your transfer request online by the midnight deadline (while the offer is still on the Diners Web site), your request will be honored and the points will be moved at the 1-1 rate. |
