Anoumous, secret Moderation is wrong!

Well overly agressive Moderation/ Censorship on FT has gone off the deep end.
Censorship is killing flyertalk. This is like Stalin Russia. We have MULTIPLE Moderators on the American Airlines board. Both Kelloggs threads were closed in Summary fashion.
If a moderator is going to close a thread , On a board with multiple Moderators, Then the moderator should at least have the courtesy to post his FT handle , so that we know who is closing the thread. I'm not saying that the moderator needs to explaining his reasoning or rationale ( although it would be nice).

A mere "Im locking this thread" posted as the final post would suffice as the mimimum disclosure requirment. But now we have the secret police acting ANONOMOUSLY???

ANONOMOUSLY! ANONOMOUSLY! ANONOMUSLY!

This is close to the final straw for me. I liked FT a whole lot better a few years ago.

To act ANONOMOUSLY is WRONG.

I posted this initally on the AA board, But it disappeared with 90 seconds. I quess that yhe secret Flyertalk Police will come and get me or my offending thread just like Iraqi, Burma and Cuba

Yes My thread DISAPPEARDED , ( as opposed to being merely closed as I questioned the action of a Moderator!!!!!!!!

And your post has to do w/ miles buzz how?

Obviously you're upset, but comparing the moderators & closing posts to Stalin, Iraq, Burma, etc, is extreme & a bit inappropriate.

If you have problems with moderators you can always email Randy directly or, if it is indeed the final straw, then drop FT from your bookmarked places.

I'm not usually on the AA forum so I didn't see your posts & can't say why the threads were closed, but normally it's for a valid reason (examples, not related to forum or just barely, personal attacks, posts have gotten off the threads, etc).

If you're this upset, you might want to take a break from ft for a while.

I note that you have re-posted in the "Randy Petersen" forum. Hence I'll close it here.
