First of all, sorry if this is slightly off topic, but I figured since we are talking about gift certificates it was the best place to ask.
While I am by no means a Starbucks fanatic, I usually grab a cup when I'm at the airport, especially after a redeye, and I have been searching on giftcertificates.com and some other sites to see if any offer a bonus for purchasing a Starbucks gift card, and am coming up empty. Is it safe to assume I couldn't somehow use Google checkout for the purchase, or maybe someother promotion for one? I always hate the change I get since I pay mostly with CC, so it would be very useful. TIA!:) |

FWIW, this thread seems to have some discussion of getting miles on GCs at Startbucksstore.com |

I just received an email... Thank you for participating in the Google Checkout holiday miles program. During the promotional period you spent $22.97 on qualifying Google Checkout purchases. Based on your purchases you earned 46 frequent flyer miles. We credited the miles to your United Airlines account number ***********. The credit will appear on your frequent flyer statement as "GOOGLE CHECKOUT MILES BONUS". If you have any questions please respond to this email. Thank you for shopping with Google Checkout this holiday season. Sincerely, The Google Checkout Team |
