Darwin Awards for FT programs? Randy?
Hey Randy, how about starting annual Darwin Awards for frequent travel programs? You know, the moves most likely to lead to the demise of the program or the company. For 2002, I nominate:
Radisson GoldPoints: 50% devaluation with zero notice US Air: elite accrual changes and making non-refundable tickets the near-equivalent of a Priceline ticket Honorable mention to Continental: inflated charges for large baggage, guaranteed to start a lengthy argument and make the customer swear never to fly them again. There is still plenty of room on the list for other programs, but the move needs to be boneheaded beyond belief to qualify for a Darwin Award. Post your nominations here... |
