Frequent Flyer Programs:
KLM: first time qualification for top-tier Royal Wings in march-2002 flying just one transatlantic with them (profiting from their comping promotion). Lufthansa/Austrian: requalified top-tier miles&more Senator until februar 2004 (four!) UA Mileage Plus: only 15'800 status miles credited (so far); will not try to requalify 1K for next year (SWU lost most of their value for me with the new rules: not good on rtw, not good on 'visit-USA'-fares, not good on Silver Wing-fares). Might still make enough miles for 2003 Premier Executive with flights in September and November-December 2002 to San Franciso (49-er games). |
AF : 57,000 miles - 22 segments (5 in Y)- 60,000 miles to be reached in July for F+ Rouge requalification

Much to the chagrin of my 3 year old son and 28 yr old wife, neither who is accustomed to my definition of, "Honey I'm going to be doing a little more travel this year than normal" here are my loathsome stats...

My stats, through the end of June, 2002
Flying... (All AA) YTD Elite miles: 29,640 YTD Elite Points: 16,066 YTD Gold/Plt. segments: 24 (all but a few in coach) Airports visited: 2 (DFW and LAX) (yes, all of it is between DFW and LAX, just like 2001 where all was DFW/DAL and LAX, just like 2000 was *all* DFW/DAL and LAX) Hotel (*all* of it Sofitel Los Angeles) Stay: lots Nights: lots They don't give me any summary. I would have to check expense reports. No clue as to how many points or whatever I have with them. Some travel, huh. Pretty low grade for this group *and* very boring. |
