actual flight miles - 108,144 - the rest are bonus/carryover from &gt;100K last year

5 other flights, about 6,000, mostly CO

72 Marriott nights, 10 Hilton

430,000 US miles burned for awards (ack, I'm under a million!)

Somewhat lighter this year than last when I was commuting back & forth to HKG every few weeks. I was at 175K by this time last year I think.

2002
AA(and CX) - YTD 74,856 actual miles
CO (and NW) - YTD 56,689 actual miles
DL - YTD 1000 actual miles
WN - 4 segments (call it 2000 miles)
China Airlines - 7356 actual miles

Total YTD actual miles: 141,901

All in F domestic and rest in Y intl except 1 WBC on NW and 2 C on AA to LHR - all OPUP.

Another 100K - 150K or so to go this year. I'll be EP on AA and Plat on CO.

I don't have a job (waiting patiently for the right one) but fly roughly monthly or so to see my dad who is going thru Chemotherapy.

United airlines thru 6/29:
36 flites. Roughly 35% Y, the rest upgrades, though I do fly redeyes with some regularity and would never bother upgrading.
31,000 status miles

Will be flying at least 8 segs/10,000 miles on award as cash is somewhat constrained.

No hotel stays. Really.

Most likely make 1P this year though I may land a consulting project and decide to do some crazy mile/segment runs en route to get back to 1k.
