I attempted to contact dhacker by email to get his referal code, as he had brought the promotion to my attention.

The email was returned with bad address.

It seems to be working for other people.

However, I will follow fallingasleep's lead from last year and donate the referral points to charity.

There is no difference between what I did last year and what you are doing this year. You have been asking for referals in diners forum and in this thread at every chance and that is spam to me. How about every one with a diners card post their sponsor code in this thread and every thread.

Practice what you preach.

I do.

There are lots of things I feel like saying to you. I can't do it privately because you haven't published your email address. I won't do it publicly because I don't want to give you the flame war you seem to be looking for. It's not worth it.

So, if it will make you feel better, go ahead and hurl whatever additional accusations you wish to make against me.

A better course would be to let it drop.

This will be my last comment on the matter (unless I change my mind).

Peace.

Is there a limit as to how many DC Rewards points you can earn in one year? Or how many of those you can transfer to BA during the 2:1 promo timeframe?

Thanks...

I'm not starting a flame war. I'm putting of the flame you threw at me last year.

I've made my point about you. And this reply would me my last word on it.

There is no limit on Diners Club Rewards points that you can earn in a year and there are no limits on transfers to BA during the 2 for 1. There is a 50k per year limit (so far unenforced) on the number of miles you can transfer to Diners from AA and UA.

I signed up for the regular DC card on the website but didn't see any place to indicate i) Referral code ii) Frequent flier affiliation.

Generally how long does it take for the card to process?

dhacker May 31, 2002 9:51 am

Don't worry about either.

You only need to give the FF affiliation when you are ready to transfer points-to-miles.

To get the application with a spot for the sponsor code, you would have had to use the special URL.

It should be done fast, almost certainly within a week or two.
