Well, I say CONGRATS!

Congrats, however as posted above it has been done by other FT'ers such as myself, The hotel part is not that difficult as stated above as for example in the Hilton world it could be done on a spend of $10-15k which in a high cost city or cites could be as little as 25-35 days. In regards to the miles, assuming top tier status, CoS bonus and perhaps card earning and bonuses could be done with 200k or so of flying, as I've done over 300k in a year on a couple of occasions it is not that unbelievable.

Congrats!
I ran into a ditzy blonde who claimed she had flown about 3 million BIS miles with UA so far this year (this was in August). She had been walked to near the front of the sercurity line (not the very front though) at BWI. I just had to laugh and humor her.... |
Dudemon, How many from churning cards?

Anyhow, congratulations! I’m very optimistic about the last four months of the year. ;) |
Wow
Your butt must be so numb! I ended up flying a total of around 420,000 miles last year (in a 10 month span) after totalling all the flights. I cannot even begin to imagine adding another 200,000+ miles on and shaving 2 months off of that time span. After 2005 I am limiting myself (or trying to) to no more than 150,000 a year for business........because my @$$ is still sore from Delta's outbound 752s and return 738s.....and all the CRJ's I had to connect to , so I could be home in time to put my daught on the bus to school every other day. Have fun with the miles! Remember to sign up for the miles for your credit cards, your car rentals and even dining out (I racked up 20,000 miles by eating at Johnny Rocket's last year.....oh man, I hope my doctor isn't on this board). Enjoy the nice RTW F Seat Vacation without spending a dime! |
I closed out '06 with a total of 1,438,905 miles and points for the year so not the 1.5mm I was shooting for but not bad.^
I spent a total of 1,018,400 miles and points for the year too. The best thing looking forward is I was conditionally accepted for my dream job which will allow me to accrue miles and points at an even faster rate, though the job won't start until June or July at the earliest. |
congrats on the new job
|
Congrats, that is a LOT of points and miles!^
So how many of those miles were BIS? Did you take advantage of promos, or how did you manage? A ton of people have asked, and you seem to be dodging it, which I don't understand? Very good job, though!^ |
