Okay, now AA has pulled out of BizMiles, following others, such as Delta, that have prohibitted the display of their mileage balances on BizMiles. There seem to only be a few programs left that will cooperate with BizMiles, and my experience with them has been that the BizMiles site is frequently months out of date. I get better, and more up to date, information by checking the web sites of the various individual programs.
Great idea, but the actual performance now seems to be failing. That's unfortunate, since the idea of one place where you could log on and find each of your program balances was a great idea.
Better yet would be a web site where you could log on and all of your program balances would come up AUTOMATICALLY on one page, rather than having to click on each individual program, as on BizMiles.
Oh, well, I am sure this is the wave of the future, as each of the programs wants to drive customers to their own web site, even if it is just to check their balances. Got to reinforce that brand loyalty, you know.

I have given up using BizMiles as a place to keep my miles update to date. As you stated
DJLawman, the information is often out of date, and Airlines are leaving the program so what's the point.

Also: I'm still puzzled why Marriott could NOT get its own technology to have its OWN
web site for Marriott Rewards. Why did they contract with BizMiles? It seems that the company has the money to create a better website and is not applying it (Also: just make one slight mistake logging in and the system boots you out. A few times the site is down or out of date, as you mentioned DJlawman.)

Maybe that's the wave of the future... either
airlines making us go to their websites or what CO does... sending an electronic statement of your mileage account (no mailing, no paper.)

I'm still waiting for the best mileage management program. While I can do it on my own fine, it would be nice to have a program that does it (MaxMiles does a good job, but sometimes they list the same promotion 15 times.) It has its flaws. CATMAN

I, too, wish Marriott will get their own web technology to manage / verify accumulated points. I have signed up three times for Bizmiles and it looks like the third time will be the charm. I gave up after the second try about one year ago but I applied again last week when I was trying to clean up some "lost" Marriott stays in December.

If your'e looking for a site to manage your miles, have any of you looked into "MaxMiles MileageMiner". It lists most programs and posts all your hotel, rental car and flight activities, as well as the points or miles earned. It also lists all the ways that you can earn points and miles from all the rental car, hotel and airlines. It does cost $19.95 per year, but I consider it to be well worth the money spent. General ~ There's a topic on MilageMiner in the Buzz from a few weeks ago ... and though it's a good idea, for most of us frequent flyer milage junkies their information is not as up to date as we'd like! They just take too darn long to update, it's bad enough having to wait for the airline sites.

Mileage Miner put me in the top NINE percent of Frequent Travelers.

MaxMiles is fine, but I want somethign that updates faster. CATMAN

Catman: Merry was top 50%, as BA Exec (UK) doesn't count.

And I never bothered to put PINS in for alot of the others.

So I suppose that makes me an infrequent flyer. I'll tell my wife she will be pleased.
