I got in late, and it's over now. Randy said that the Goldpoints "situation" involves a new vice president, and seemed (to me) to say that we can forget wonderful offers from them in the future.
He did say he expects other good offers to come along.

Thanks to Randy & Co last nights chat was one of the better ones- perhaps because he himself was the guest! 
Among the highlights was the fact that he noted that these days, to him a FF mile may now only be worth about 1.25 cent in most cases!
He also spoke very well of the Starwood CC from Amex!
