Should I Combine Credit Cards?
My husband and I each have an AAdvantage credit card and earn about 40,000+ miles per year on each card. I never considered this, but should we get rid of one and earn miles on only one card?
There is no reason for us to each have one. Does this make sense to have two? If we both earned toward one, we would be able to reach a different status, right? Or would it only entitle ONE of use (i.e. platinum member benefits, such as airprt lounges, etc) the benefits? Thanks............ |
Unless you are GLD, PLT or EXP, the miles you earn are limited, so be sure you're within the limits before dropping one. (Not sure if this is the right forum for this question. You should find a plethora of info in the AA and Visa forums.)

I'm seeing AA forum in your future ;)

Instead of moving this to the AA forum, since its a general credit card discussion & can apply to any loyalty credit card, I'm going to move this to the MilesBuzz forum.
