am i a problem?
i am retired and like to go places. fortunately [sp] we have the dinero to do a few things. i look on this imposition of what i think is rediculus security. as a fault in our government. the imposition of rediculous security stuff is typical. i would like the top people to say that this is what they think the solution is. these include the president & all cabinet officers.

i've read and reread your post several times and i'm not sure i understand exactly what it is you're trying to say here, but, no.. it doesn't sound like you're a problem.

I think he is asking if he is "a problem" for speaking out of turn, i.e., is he viewed as a problem for speaking up against the government. Maybe asking a rhetorical question, it would seem.
In response, no, you are not a problem for speaking up. You already know that, hence the nature of your purported question. Or, are you just bored and have nothing better to do?
It would seem that you have some real communication problems, though. That old Alzheimers setting in there buddy?

Clacko,
You are not alone in your belief that the new airport "security" is ridiculous. It will be a long time before I fly again for that very reason. Common sense is the first thing to be eliminated by the the knee jerk reaction. I know most people will very much disagree with my opinion. I do not condone terrorism and I am just as horrified as everyone else. Are you by chance a Libertarian?

Flowerchild: We are far more vulnerable to terrosim in our day to day lifestyles. The next attack will not come from the air. . .
Are you going to change your lifestyle because of these new threats?

I won't change my lifestyle and be held prisoner by fear of what might happen next. I'm not afraid to fly, but travelling with small children who don't understand security and delays is reason enough to stay home.
A new meaning for " peace on the home front"!
