Don't forget to do another update for the second thousand miles. |
OK! What am I doing wrong? I got my first 1000 no problem. I try doing the second, using a different computer, different session etc., and it tells me only one update bonus to a customer.

For all of you who are currently enjoying your 2000 free miles, please note they are actually points, not miles! Still, its a nice gift nevertheless. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I made a profile update to my account but no bonus points posted. Am I doing something wrong?

I finally got it to work. Instead of just hitting the "Update" link, you also have to hit the "Next" button.
Thanks for the tips! Hope that someone reminds me on October 1, when the new quarter starts. |
What is the easiest way to disable cookies?
(other then going through MS Explorer and deleting them manualy) Every time it click the "Profile link" it brings me to the 1,000 bonus point page but when I click next, "MY personal" account is logged in. I would log out but there is no log out button that I can find. |
Just close the browser and open another one. Pretty easy!

Thanks freakflyer,
No dice. (I did figure that one out about 4 years ago) Anyone else? |
Got it.
I have to close ALL windows and re-open all of them again everytime I switch to a new family member. |
The Hilton Hhonors account information is typically not stored in cookies unless there was some type of "remember me" option on the web site that I have overlooked. However, the information is cached in memory. tasnam, if you had several instances of Explorer open, please be sure to close all instances in order to clear memory. If, for some reason, clearing memory fails to do the trick, cookies may be eliminated by deleting all *.txt files from the \windows\cookies subdirectory.
