win big - 5000 FF miles a day!

Be sure to check the website for your name: http://www.webflyer.com/netmiles/fr12d.htm

From Mileslink:

WIN 5,000 Frequent Flyer Miles A Day

This is the big one. It's your big chance to earn even more miles from us.
Starting on Sunday, December 13 WebFlyer sponsors the "12 Days 'til
Christmas" mileage giveaway where you can earn real frequent flyer miles.
Each day at noon (MST) until Christmas, we will be posting a new email
address on the NetMiles/12 Days 'til Christmas page of WebFlyer,
http://www.webflyer.com/netmiles/fr12d.htm . You must check that page each
day to see if your name is posted. If so, simply email us that day by noon
(MST) the next day and you will be awarded 5,000 frequent flyer miles in
the major frequent flyer program of your choice. These miles are in
conjunction with the highly regarded ClickRewards program that earns you
miles for your purchases on the Internet. If there is no winner that day,
we will post a new name the next day and carry over the miles. So, if 3
days go by without a winner, the next winner would receive 20,000 miles, a
nice bonus this holiday season. On selected days, we will be adding a
5,000-point bonus from the Marriott Rewards program, so check every day to
see if you really are a winner. Remember, you must email us (instructions
on the 12 Days 'til Christmas page) to qualify for your winnings.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tip. This promotion might work out better than Randy's "question of the day" (though that was more fun) because in this contest there is one definite winner. With the last one, certain people who shall remain nameless overloaded the board with spam... most of it wrong answers!

Good luck everyone and if anyone wins let us know! CATMAN

This little exchange might explain why I was contacted by that Kiplinger reporter. I'm a member of the FF Advisory Board, and they told me in a broadcast Email yesterday that this contest was going to happen. You guys should all join!

pgupta011 Dec 11, 1998 1:12 pm

How does one join (or am I too much of a troublemaker to be allowed in)?

philforest Dec 11, 1998 2:11 pm

pgupta011: I don't remember, and maybe you are, but this posting may open the door.

Its' 5:00 PM (ET), December 13. Looks like Santa forgot it is only 12 days til Christmas. There is no e-mail name posted on the netmiles 12 days til Christmas page! What gives?

baobab Dec 13, 1998 3:24 pm

Santa slept in?

(I've been looking too)

philforest Dec 13, 1998 3:28 pm

This time it worked. Ignore my new thread (More 5000 Miles a Day).
There's no link on the home page, but if you go to the page demeter identified in the original post on this thread, you get a page on this contest, including identification of the day's winner. They post a new winner at noon every day, and that person has until noon the following day to respond. If there's no response, the 5000 miles are added to the next day's 5000, making that day's haul 10000.
The page also says that if you've already registered for Net Miles, you don't need to register again for this deal.
That site again (which I just checked out) is www.webflyer.com/netmiles/fr12d.htm

It seems like Santa woke up...

Ricechex Dec 13, 1998 11:11 pm

I dont see any names, says "your name could be posted here"

baobab Dec 14, 1998 8:00 am

Take a look at http://www.webflyer.com/netmiles/12days.htm and page down. You are probably looking at the 'Winners' Circle'.

philforest Dec 14, 1998 8:04 am

There's now a link.
From the WebFlyer Home Page, go to Net Miles.
There, you'll find a graphic in the upper right hand corner that identifies the "12 Days" promo. Click on it and you get the 5000 miles a day drawing. I didn't win on the first day, and day 2 won't be posted for another two hours.

baobab Dec 14, 1998 8:09 am

Make that 4 hours phil - they work on MST.

baobab Dec 14, 1998 8:09 am
