Homestead Studios anyone ?
I am gonna stay at Homestead Studios for weeks together? Does anyone know of any miles/points/GC earning opportunities there? Any partnerships I could use? Or their own program, if any?

Pardon my ignorance, but where is/are Homestead Studios, and is it/are they part of any chain? That would be the best indicator that you can get hotel or airline points for the stay. Most independent hotels/resorts are not affiliated with FF programs.

Homewood Suites is part of the HHonors conglomerate and so points are earned. As for the properties, I have only seen them in the Southern US and in California. They appear to be a mix between Residence Inn and Holiday Inn Express. The best part is breakfast is included, no haggling with your Gold HHonors card. And just like all the Hampton Inns and some Hiltons, no lounge though

I don't believe they belong to any ff programs, but they do have a 10% off coupon on their promotion page at their website. They just opended one near me and I looked to see if they gave miles, but didn't see where they said they did.

I would recommend a different choice among one of the all-suites chains, especially if you would like to earn loyalty points. I am thinking of Residence Inn, etc.
I had a customer who wanted my firm to use Homestead on an extended project, and I looked through the (brand-new) facility and decided to rent a corporate apartment instead. These are very cheaply furnished, and after a few months must start to look really rough around the edges.

Several people from my company had a last minute trip to Sacramento and could find nothing else but Homestead Village (if this is what you're talking about), but I was just happy to have a room. As someone said, the rooms were cheaply furnished, the room was noisy and you had to pay extra for maid service! We all called it Homeless Village after our stay.
