I'll be flying R/T with Malaysian Airlines to USA shortly and would like to maximize my earned airmiles. I can put them on my Worldperks or Skymiles account, or open a new Enrich account with Malaysian. As I will be flying on Class Q (Fare Basis Y), it looks as if only a percentage of miles travelled is actually earned, and it seems to make a difference to whom the miles are assigned. I tried to figure this out online, but it looked as if it could be anywhere from 50%, 70% or maybe even 100%, but I couldn't quite figure it out. I'd prefer not to find out later that I made the poor choice. I will also be flying domestic USA with Continental--Class Q, which gives me the same options for partners, but perhaps a completely different set of rules. Can anybody help me out here? Thanks.

What about KL?
KLM usually give full flown miles, and KLM are a partner of MH. However, I am just speculating and unable to tell you whether you will get full KL miles for a cheap MH tkt.
