Contrary to the professionals NOT wanting to give out free advice...
Sitting next to the professional who wants to give you the free advice, like the Merrill Lynch or wherever he was from (I lost interest fast) fund manager I sent next to yesterday who couldn't tell me enough how wrong I was for whatever it was that I was doing wrong with my IRA. |
*people who bring their own pillows on the plane and then wham me with it on the way down the aisle. This seems to be a west coast and alaska thing....
*having the bulkhead and fc bins filled with crew baggage. *listening to the tinny and bassy cd players of 14 year old metalheads who must be losing their hearing * people who go to the restroom with stocking feet and then put them up on the bulkhead. eeuw. * people who use the restroom and then don't close the door completely afterwards * having to wait for a gate and missing your connection * getting glares and stares because I have a bulkhead seat and am just about 5' tall. Ha! |
dup post, sorry
*people who read playboy next to me * people who don't bring anything to read and then sigh the whole flight. * people who spill their drinks on my lap * people who have the forethought to stop at the genova delicatessen in oakland prior to their flight and make me drool while eating their proscuitto laden sandwiches. There I was in the aisle seat in the emergency exit row, which was reserved well in advance. The women in the middle seat with her husband in the middle seat in the row behind us. She had the nerve to ask me, if I would ........ NO! I said, Don't even ask! What nerve! Like I was going to change. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
I hate, when people who don't plan ahead, want you to give up a good seat. |

Great thread.... I think this one is going to hit the 200 reply mark !!! |
This is terrible. I should be doing my homework and I just stopped by to check on something and here I am caught reading this thread...
But I'd like to add my gripe: People who don't clean the sink out after using it. (Okay, so this may be a public confession on my obsessive compulsive behavior.) But why is it so hard for people to dry the sink with the same towel they use to dry their hands? Maybe I need to see a therapist on this but the thought of those water drops drive me crazy. I have even gotten up to check the sink after someone else uses the lavatory just to confirm my suspicions on their character... Maybe they just need to put porcelain sinks on planes. The thought of water drops on porcelain doesn't bother me... It's just those little drops on stainless steel that get me all riled up. |

Sounds more like a salesman to me. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif Perhaps you should have pretended to be one yourself and ask him if he had enough insurance coverage? Naw, he'd probably just have wanted to compare notes. |
