Seems like a LOT of paperwork and fussing to get $80 in front doesn't it? Just my first take on this. If there was no limit per household and you could buy 5000-50000 etc candies, the economies of scale might get it humming for me!

Hi Everyone!

Just got off the phone with Tammie at the above-mentioned toll-free number.

Promotion IS, in fact, real!! All of Travelcoupon's info is correct, with one very important exception:

The PO Box posted in the first message on this thread is incorrect -- the correct address is:

Hershey's Southwest Certificate Offer
P. O. Box 3019
Rogers, MN 55374-3019.

Also, the offer is limited to the candies you listed (i.e., Cookies and Cream does NOT qualify).

Further, "Limit one entry per mailing envelope per person" means that, if you're in a family of 4, you must send in 4 separate envelopes. In addition, you can send in as many envelopes as you want; you just can't combine your entries.

No word on the combinability of the coupons. (That's probably something that Southwest decides).

Happy eating! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Would any school really want to accept the candy bars? I don't see how pumping kids full of sugar actually helps the teachers... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I'd like to find a place that has Hershey bars at 4/$1. Anyone see any sales at nationwide chains such as Target, CVS, etc?

The best I've seen is Rite Aid has them on sale this week for $.29, but still about $90 worth of candy for $150 coupon--not worth it for me at that price.

Any info?

Is there any restriction that don't allow to trade Candy wrappers for a tax deductible donation. I see an opportunity to help the kids get to camp by having the kids collect wrappers for donations so they can purchase tickets to camp. Frequent fliers can get a deal on a $150.00 certificate and help a kid get to camp.

As I talked to the folks at Hershey, I can only use one certificate per kid and address. I cannot hand in 3 certificates and get 450.00 off tickets. Southwest don't go into Calgary Canada the certificates don't help Kids get there.

I see it as a win win. Does nobody know of errors I'm overlooking ... anyone know how I can work out the logistics, maybe I would have to work through a third party for trust.

If not, anyone want 275 wrappers for a tax-deductible donation?

PS thanks to all for the information I have got from reading these boards and the help many have given already

[B]safeway (northern california) 4/$1 with their club card...unsure when the promo ends....amounts to about $75(68.75+tax) for a $150 coupon.

What are the restrictions on the $150 coupon? anyone know

Also, Safeway has been running targeted coupons for $10 off any purchase of $50 or more...hmmm $65 for a $150 coupon...getting better.

Thanks for trying, but nothing's coming up in terms of a scan on that link.

Sorry, have fixed the scan. Had to scan it in a higher resolution so it is somewhat readable.

Have anyone actually received any Hersey SWA certificates? When they expire? Is it transferable? Can you use it for two tickets on a same reservation? I only travel SWA on short trips.

Thanks
