Doesn't this really screw up your credit rating? Maybe not for credit cards but for insurance, or mortgage, or home equity loans?

I called up firstusa to see if this offer was still active and the representative and her supervisor said that they have not heard of the offer...does anyone know if it's still valid? The application also doesnt mention the 15k miles...was anyone successful in receiving them? The url is below:

I can also report that the 15k miles posted (even though it doesn't show anywhere on the application form) and fee waiver 1st year. All happened on the first statement!

xdan28x, welcome to FT. Coupon Connection is the place that you can find certs that people have to give or gift. You have to be registered a month on FT before you can post there, but you should do a search of posts for the past month - you might find someone willing to gift.

Get 10,000 Delta Air Lines SkyMiles for FREE!

Just take a few minutes to play the game whose link appears in the first milepost of the following thread in the Delta forum: Free 10,000 Miles.

The questions are very easy to answer. If you did not answer every question correctly, the game gives you a chance to play again.

You could also earn some bonus partner offers by playing this game.

Really? I did get the fee waiver on my 1st statement but no 15K. Maybe after 1st purchase?

there is a buttload on the delta dash to the gate thread in the delta forum....apparently SOME people have been able to get through, but the majority seem to report "so sorry too late" action since about the 9th of December..."someone" spoke to a delta rep yesterday who said we'd be able to play again in a few days...

gentlemen...start your engines.....

UA FREE VISA - limited?

"First year free" is only offered if you are directly solicited. SUpposedly, if someone knew the 800 phone number, promo code they could be eligible for the First year free, 15k bonus"? Anyone know the 800 number, promo code?

I got a snail mail solicitation. I didn't see anything about first year free and I went back and looked after your post. Still can't find it. It does say annual fee: $60.
FWIW the number on my mailing is 1-888-589-3222 offer code 592

I signed up online a couple of days ago.

Web site and mailing both say 15,000 mile bonus is after first purchase.

Incorrect, just use the link. I've done it myself and had no problems. To be completely safe, print the pricing and terms that appear on the site. If the credit card company's disclosure says no fee the first year then you'd have a wonderful case against them should they decide to charge the fee. No worries. ;)
