Washington Post wants to talk to stranded passengers

help!!! i'm a reporter looking for passengers who may have recently been
stranded at an airport and went into one of those little shops at the airport to buy cheap t-shirts, mouthwash or whatever. want to find out what you did in your time of waiting for a flight. want to know if you've traveled a lot recently and noticed more stores trying to make a buck off
stranded people by staying open later or opening up earlier.

Please tell me your stranded story. thanks,

Dana Hedgpeth
reporter
The Washington Post.

Dana, you might try the airport!

Especially ORD, or any hub, but the UA gates at most any airport should do the trick!

Please excuse my sarcasm!

Airline hassles are clearly a big media attraction at present.

Someone from the Wall Street Journal contacted me today based on a posting in another thread.

In the meantime I got contacted too by a WSJ travel reporter. Have not time to answer because I am off to an UA (adventure) trip to Europe.
Keep my fingers crossed: sofar this week my first, domestic flight was cancelled 1x and delayed 2x by more than 3 hours. 3 out of 6 I would have missed my transatlantic connection.
