Moving on from Eurobonus when based in Beijing?

Dane based in Beijing, so SAS Eurobonus has always been my preferred status mile. Even recently, I wouldn't mind flying between Copenhagen and Shanghai just to earn points and fully utilize the EB gold.

However, with SAS joining Skyteam I want to remain in Star Alliance since it's way better for Asia and China where I travel mostly. Airchina would be the obvious choice, but I'm honestly not the biggest fan. Since I'm flying between China and Denmark regularly thoughout the year I was considering moving to either Miles & More or Miles & Smiles since both offer an ok return trip between Beijing and Copenhagen and have some good lounges.

But I'm really having a hard time deciding between the two. Or am I overlooking a better choice?

Any inputs are welcome!

There is no easy answer to this. It depends how often you fly, and in which booking classes.

LH Senator is obviously more valuable than TK*G - when flying LH group.
As I understand LH is now running a status match program for EB members.
Even if you receive SEN through status match, it requires quite some flying in higher booking classes to renew LH Sen.

For this reason I signed up for TK and is now working on my status with them. They are running a status match campaign as well.

Im ditching Eurobonus altogether as I have status with flying blue these days as well.
