Hey Randy, is there any reward for reaching this level? Change in status...you know...from Junior Member to Member to Senior Member? How about some FlyerTalk luggage tags?

Though I am not in the same league as Rudi or Catman or doc, I have over 2K posts combined in my two incarnations (pgupta011 and PG).

it's quality that matters.

I'm Platinum Elite, with over 750 posts. (So difficult to get up to 1K in a year, same problem I have with the airlines, but I still have a few months left to go.)

I've posted 300+...does that make me a "silver flyer talker" or a 1/3 1K?

OK all you 1K people and others. We are working on some ideas for the posting levels. As noted above, there has been many comments on this topic and we could easily go several different ways and yet still have a following of positive comments, but it works and I'm glad to see so many great people associated with it. Anyway, I just never thought about the 1K moniker associated with FlyerTalk but it does look very respected when I see it on the screen.....I'll be watching all your comments......

And congrats to all of you who have earned the industry's respect and the honor of a FREDDIE.

I am in the minority when I say PLEASE NO ELITE LEVELS!

I had to deal with these elite clubs in high school they never let me into. I deal with it at work. NOT HERE. All it does is create jealousy and envy and all these evil emotions.


Let's make it simple: you start posting and you are automatically comped to 1K OR YOU ARE IN THE CLUB.

I want everyone to have an equal playing field.

OMNI for PRemEx: let me know when you hit 2K. I'll bring out the band and the dancing girls I got when I hit 2k ...
