Per the Terms:

AAdvantage DiningSM Qualifying Transaction: a minimum purchase amount of $25.00 in a single transaction.

AAdvantage eShoppingSM Qualifying Transaction: a minimum purchase amount of $50.00 in a single transaction.
Vinesse seems to be $41.95. 3,000 mile bonus for first shipment.

1-800-Flowers, seems you can do for about $12.

Looks like about $129 is the rock bottom, and with the miles from the offers outside this specific promotion, seems like you'd net about 13.5k-17k miles depending on your AAdvantage eShopping merchant rate, and whether or not you are eligible for the AAdvantage Dining signup bonus.

The T&C states that a specific link will be sent to enter the 1-800-flowers site to make a purchase for this promotion. It states if you do not want to use the specific link you can call them and use code ADDV. I am concerned this will waive the 30 miles per $1 (offer code A54). Anyone have additional info on this? No idea how to tell when the 'special' link is sent either.

1-800-Flowers.com Qualifying Transaction: during the Promotion Period, American Airlines will market offers (a “1-800-Flowers.com Offer”) from 1-800-Flowers.com through American Airlines‘ marketing channels (AA.com, Email, eSummary statement, etc.). The marketing communication will contain a link to a website that will allow an American Airlines AAdvantage® member to redeem the 1-800-Flowers.com Offer. A redemption of the 1-800-Flowers.com Offer will qualify as a Qualifying Transaction (provided that such order is not subsequently cancelled). American Airlines AAdvantage® members can also redeem the 1-800-Flowers.com Offer by calling 1-800-356-9377, using the promo code ADDV, providing the member’s AAdvantage number and consummating the applicable 1-800-Flower Offer. 1-800-Flower Offers are subject to additional restrictions, limitations and blackout periods.

A couple threads in the AA forum you want to glance at before jumping for joy too much:

One on this promo, which after delving into it deeper many people seem to feel it's not as great as it looked at first glance:
And then another about the stark reality of the current (non)usability of AA miles for actual AA flights:

Good timing for me on this, I just had to buy a new printer for work so I did it through the portal. Shame AAdvantage Dining in Raleigh is pretty weak.

On the plus side, the eShopping partner list is pretty extensive, so you *should* be able to find something there that renders your actual cost of participating in this promo at pretty close to zero. I figure $50 spent at Target.com is likely pretty efficient. Maybe my "cost" is a shipping fee or something.

Same for Dining...I have a few iDine restaurants nearby where I just eat and accept the pitiful amount of AA miles that come with that. I'd consider that one no cost:: I don't use iDine enough to bother with their cashback program. (iDine has deteriorated so much in the past 5-8 years. Long ago, I was a very active cashback participant.)

Flowers, yeah, that's a huge markup for miles. The wine thing requires you to signup and then cancel, right?

Remember, it has to be a single purchase of $25 or more at a participating restaurant. It's only "no cost" if your dines are usually that high (after tax and tip are included). The places where I eat, it's incredibly rare that I pay $25 or more "naturally".

Of course, if the restaurant sells gift card or gift certificates (and you're pretty the restaurant will stay around long enough for you to redeem it), you could buy one of those for $25 minimum and then spread it out over more than one dine, if like me you rarely find yourself even coming close to $25 total.

(Obviously, it's easier to get to $25 if multiple people are in your eating party, but you said "I" eat, not "we" eat.)

Btw, among the things that they've done in those 8 years or so is change their name. They now use iDine only to refer to the cashback program, which obviously doesn't give AA miles. Overall, the company is now called Rewards Network.

Our local pizza joint is on iDine. Dinner for 4 there with a two medium pies and a couple beers is about $35-40. (Hey, it's good pizza!!) That's how I remember iDine still technically exists: I see 38 miles or whatever post to my AA account. :D

Walmart has free shipping for orders over $35. I just bought my non-food grocery stuff from there rather than the grocery store. (Paper towels, deoderant, shaving cream, etc). So no shipping plus stuff I needed anyway my "cost" for using eShopping is zero.

Dinner for two is easily over $30 for me and I regularly dine at restaurants on the rewards network. Plus I basically get 8 points per dollar (5 points per dollar rewards network VIP plus another 3 points per dollar from CSR).

Sent my mom flowers for Mother's Day. (FYI everything on 1800 flowers does not count. it will tell you on checkout page if it counts or not).

So for me the only decision is to join the crappy wine club.

Then you're not really using iDine.

That's because the company running AAdvantage Dining changed their name several years ago to Rewards Network (RN for short), and nowadays iDine is used for the cashback program (which earns cashback instead of miles) only.

So if you're earning miles, you're technically using Rewards Network, not iDine. :p

Does anyone know if you can use AA dining with Seamless? I was hoping I could just use my linked card via them to passively earn points because most of my delivery places are on the list of participating restaurants.

That is not a question specific to AA dining. It would be the same answer for all Rewards Network dining programs. It's the dining program, not AA, which determines whether you earn miles. As such, it is a question much better asked in the forum devoted to Rewards Network dining programs:
You're much more likely to find users of one or another delivery service there (because they might be UA dining users or DL dining users or AS dining users) than here (which it's not even a thread specifically about AA dining, just a thread about a promotion one part of which happens to be AA dining).

And there's already a thread there which has discussed Seamless (with apparently contradictory reports):

Just placed a $220 order with Lowe's through the shopping portal and I'll go to the local store for pickup this weekend to get it.

Dined out for $65 with one of the only local restaurants I like associated with the dining program.

I'll order flowers for my sweetie and then I'm done. Not going to do the wine offer.
