The guide to sleeping in airport was featured in the Globe and Mail (Canada's National newspaper) with glowing reviews about a week ago.
CNN and one of the local NYC papers did
this story about a month ago. It's a fun
site, they should also put out a guidebook
on it for those of us like me who like to have "little reference books" on them while
Traveling.
My one "sleeping in airport" experience was
a few years ago when Stranded at Pittsburgh's
airport and shopping mall. No hotels available for 50 miles. I was on American,
and they were NO help.
They kept the Roy Rogers open for use to get food, but American still made us pay for food and other necessities (only gave us blankets and hard pillows.)
So I was up the whole night amid snoring
businessmen and a flight attendant crying because she could not get home for her
daughter's sixth birthday.
I guess it depends on WHAT airport you sleep
at. But I will try for a hotel first. CATMAN

In my opinion, the best of the big TV news media company websites. Updated daily and I particularly like the weekly features done by the Crabby Traveler and Economy Class.

The Frequent Flyer Program Site is much smaller than the industry benchmark WebFlyer but still offers some good information for the frequent flyer.

I hope nobody is offended by the name of this one. My apologies in advance. No ****ting in the Toilet is an absloutely hilarious Australian website about travels in third world countries.

Cool. It seems the WebFlyer software deletes naughty words! Anyway, I'm sure you can figure it out yourself.
S-H-I- oh, come on....you know the last letter.

MA - It seems we both discovered this nifty little feature today. I stumbled on it using the more innocuous "D-A-M-?", & was surprised to see the row of stars. I've heard 3 year-olds use worse language...

MileageAddict & baobob...I see you two have just discovered the censoring mechanisms that chat & bulletin boards use. I have used a chat site called WBS for over a year, and as you are already learning, any word can get around the censors by using misc. characters in between the letters...don't know why they bother trying to censor words. Anyway, I was chatting with someone and told them that I had a pita (p.ita...in case it is censored on here too) sandwich and learned that was a bad word *s* ...must translate to something?
With all of these Websites to check out, I'm going to need some more vacation time to get
through them all!
I will not resort to objectionable words. I
don't even mind the editing as long as MEOW
is ok. CATMAN
