Whenever I've used a non-Chase card through the UR portal, I've always gotten the bonus points. But they do take longer to post than when I use a Chase card.

Case in point:

1. I got 750 bonus points through the Freedom UR portal using my IB on a Staples FAR deal. Bought the stuff on July 16. Points posted on the 22nd.

2. Today I got 9072 bonus points through the SP UR portal using my SPG Amex on Hotwire, booking flights to the Philippines. Bought the flights on July 7th. Points posted today.

So by using a Chase card, it took 6 days for the points to post. By using a non-Chase card, points still posted, but it took 20 days. But they still posted--that's the main thing!

That's because it's hard to put meaningful spend on mag subs. OTOH, you can get lots and lots of pet meds to resell. :cool:
