As you know miles/points is not my cup of tea but let’s try this. Read the post you quoted from ma91pmh. Then read it again and again. It can be a goldmine of information. Just because a merchant says ABC is excluded does not make it so. If C* is as bad and as incompetent as you say they are it should be clear at what I am getting at. When you find a gem DO NOT POST IT!!!

I'm not going to put you on the ignore list. But I have NO clue what exactly you are talking about (again) and I have not only reread each of the posts I have made that reply to this user and essentially I have nothing to hide from anyone, including what I say to Cartera.

And to be honest, I actually would rather groups like them get it right and fix the holes so we can ALL get miles ALL the time instead of relying on the possible existence of holes so that some people might get some miles while the rest of us have to suffer through the quagmire with nearly every mileage offering ranging from 1-1 million miles we could be waiting on for things we did online. See, if they fix it, we will shop. If they don't, some may score but that means that in a way, those who secretly scored are ripping ME off. (Although I will generally side with the posters/shoppers/individual users over a company like Cartera in nearly every case, AND I will NOT allow Cartera to thus BLAME us for its problems. They began all this.)

That said, if you see wordings in my postings that you think I should specifically delete from my posts because they do something or say something that should not be said, just send me a PM specifically highlighting exactly what and where and why, and I will gladly take it out. ie, "hey MM, I noticed you said X. It is either incorrect or leads people or companies down a path many feel should not be done for reasons such as blah blah and blah blah. Can you kindly take that out? It's this line--in post #4444 in the ### thread. Thanks!"

I think what we have are two opposing points of view - MM is saying it is better if Cartera fixes its Internal Controls and runs its business right and proper while QL is saying Cartera's lapses in Internal Controls make for an opportunity to give them the business. Why can't we all get along and encourage Cartera to fix its business by (legally) giving them the business (in spades) until they do. Seems both a profitable and practical solution. :p

MM – Here is what I meant by “DO NOT POST”. I will give a generic example. You find a FI that you can fund with a CC for a large amount. If you post it I can guarantee it will get killed in a matter of days if not hours.

I guess I am missing opps that you know about and then when I post issues that happen to exactly expose that opp, it gets you all bent out of shape (possibly rightfully so) but what you dont understand is that I could have actually honoestly been missing the opp all along and so when I post my pain or issue, I have no idea what I am even exposing. I just do not recall us emailing before. we could have though. I have emailed with many FTers and often times I cannot always tell which one is which based on Ft handles. I do not maintain a spreadhseet but generally speaking if someone here has my email, it's because I gave it to them or someone else did. I cannot control the latter.

I can tell you that all of this reminds me of yet another comical Monty Python skit where King Arthur encounters the Knights who say Ni.

How can I stop saying it if I don't even know what it is?
