Methods of Payments with CC's
I'm trying to reach the $4K spending limit on each of my Citi AAdvantage card. Going the path dealing with coins is being a real pain with cancellations on my orders. So I decided to do it the old fashioned way with legitimate purchases on day to day things including bills.
Personally, I don't have any bills to pay for as of right now other than an IOU to my mom. My parents have the typical utility bills, cable bills, etc. along with a Lexus and Toyota bill. Unfortunately, every company doesn't accept credit card payments except for Verizon, State Farm and Comcast. Is there a way of going around this? I understand that if I make a check using my CC it would register as a CA which is not good at all considering the fee associated with it.
I'm posting in this section since I feel my situation will benefit others as well. It's not just a Citi CC problem.
Thanks!

There are fees, but you could try chargesmart.com
You could pay back your parents with Amex or Visa gift cards you purchase with your Citi card.
I'm surprised your cable tv company won't take a credit card. Have you called customer service to confirm this?

Looked at Amazon Payment as well but the situation with the Form 1099 doesn't sound enticing..

Buy Coins from the US Mint (big long thread about it). Use coins to pay mom/dads bills.
Can order $1000 worth every 10 days. Do 4 times, problem solved. (Make sure you have other purchases sprinkled in too, not just coins).
