Absolutely legit. I saw a notice about this bonus on some of the travel blogs I follow. Gave it a try earlier today.

The 2500 HHonors points have already posted by this evening. It also extended my account expiration date to 4/1/2012.

Amazing how quickly these posted (and no, not an April Fool's joke).

That's the problem with the plethora of april fools day threads -- the legit ones are also assumed to be pranks. I believe that this one IS legit.

This IS legit. I signed up this afternoon and my 2500 points have already posted.

Please join me in asking the Talk Board to ban april fool's day threads so people will not miss out on deals such as this one.

How many hours did it take to post, or was it instant? If instant (or nearly), I believe it has been pulled, as I submitted my and several family accounts and none have posted 30 minutes later.

I tried this afternoon and it entered and worked. Went in a second time and it said "you have already registered for this promotion". I have five stays coming up soon too! Thanks, HiltonHHonors!

Confused. Are you saying that you did receive the points earlier in the day, but that later they were removed? What was the time-line for all of this?
