Free 2,500 Hilton HHonors points

Anyone register or try to register for this? I clicked on the link and I can't tell if it works because I can't get a confirmation. Thanks.

I beat your post by a few milliseconds

Did you get this link to work? When I tried to register it didn't give me any confirmation that it worked. Maybe their site crashed....they don't seem to have the best on-line technology in the world anyway.

The site is a nightmare -- couldn't log on at all last night, took 60 seconds to punch through this morning.

Interesting that Hilton will give out only 1000 points as bonus for booking a hotel room, but 2500 for a few seconds' impatience with their website.

I just saw The Points Guy tweet regarding this offer. Looks legit for 2,500 points in my account.

You're given the URL during long holds at the Diamond Desk or regular HHonors line. Seems like the promo is intended to compensate inconvenienced people. If I hadn't been inconvenienced, I wouldn't have registered for it.

I wonder how long it will take for Hilton Honors to post the points to an account?

That's always my concern too with stuff like this. We're giving out our acct number and pin to a webaddress first tweeted, now posted here...

I hope this is legit too, but could be an excellent phishing scheme.

Changing it to hhonors.com (with the same parameter string) takes you to the same page, so I'd say it's kosher.
