Any current AAdvantage checking acct promo?
 

Just got my first AA credit card with CITI. Is there any promo for CC holder to open a new checking accout? 20k or 40k for example...?

I actually did read that thread - most of the posts in it, in fact. It is for a targeted promotion that ended on October 31, 2010. Hence the question for a current Citi AA checking promotion.

That thread is mostly people talking about their experience with the details and the results of that promotion. We are wondering if there are any new promotions running.

At least if your going to yell and be unproductive, make sure you are right first :D

I have way too many promos in my brain. I completely forgot about the deadline.
Of course, considering what a hassle Citi is with its banking promos, maybe it's good they don't have any out there.

That's my New Year's resolution. No more Citi banking promos. I am just plain tired of having to email them and keep after them to post the promised miles.

I got an offer in my first statement (don't have the details with me right now), but pretty similar to the 40K one that expired in October in that you got half up front and then another half if you had a particular type of activity (e.g. direct deposit) for 9 months.

So can you tell me the promo code? or anything that can identify this promotion?
