here is a quick question to the pros:
On the BA promo http://www.britishairways.com/travel...t=BBBB5HJLBDSN,
do you think I have to add some coupon or BCD? Its not really saying anything about it there, so I assume I can have Costco's and some nice coupon added and would still get the miles?
I was thinking that was BA promo, so they would be looking for a transaction from Avis, but is that really the case?

Let me apologize for my confusion with your confusion.You're quite right about the "swap". Most of the entries for Budget & Avis quote a coupon code because the majority of the time any BCD or AWD will be accepted for a promo unless the code has a corp exclusion for earning miles. The coupon code is usually the only thing needed for a miles bonus. This one is different. One must use the WN BCD along with the coupon code to qualify for the RR credits.
I have modified the entries (the Avis ones as well) to reflect that both are needed. Thanks for catching that. Cheers and happy holidays. :-:

I clicked on the "book now" button which opened a new window for booking with Avis. At the top it mentioned the promotion with a "more here" link. The blue stuff below should answer your question about using a COSTO AWD. I've also underlined some important possible "gotchas".

Hey Mrp, where did you get an expiration date of Dec 31, 2011? Is it a typo or are you looking at a different promotion than starflyer?
