Hmmm. Nothing for me still.
I had a few Best Western points post, but a fraction of what I should have gotten. There's a gap of a 2 weeks' worth of BW points still missing.

Yup - I got some old HHonors points that I was due that I had totally forgotten about.

HHonors points did finally post.
Nothing in a month for Priority Club. Anyone received their IHG points?

kendenton Jun 8, 2011 12:21 pm

My IHG points are still collecting in TopGuest for a month, nothing has ever been credited to IHG

PC posted, but less points than expected.

Same here. Topguest says I have 450 points, they posted 150 to my PC account.

Last night I noticed that I hadn't had any PCR points post in over a month. This had happened previously with Hilton, sent an e-mail and got it fixed right away. This time, the result - the famous e-mail starting "We noticed you're a big user of Topguest (great) but"...

I would now probably recommend against e-mailing until after 6 weeks (which is what is recommended in their FAQ). I am not doing anything wrong, I just happen to live in Phoenix which has a million hotels, including 5 chains that I am able to check into every day. I will keep checking in, and as has happened to others, eventually the suspension will be lifted and I'll get points. Wish I waited one more day, seeing the recent posts it looks like alot of people are over a month from PCR and got posted today (ironically I had 17 days worth of PCR post today - half of as much of what was expected as others mention)

commuting checkins not allowed

I wrote the Topguest service and asked if it is allowed to check in on my daily commute but going physical into the lobby of a property, because accounts got suspended in the past (as I saw in this thread).

Don't know if I'm allowed to cite email: therefore, rewritten answer in my own words:
Topguests aims to reward that I share my location via social network check-ins when I "actually visit the locations".

That means, that on my commute, I'm generally not allowed to check-in locations to reward points.
So in my eyes, when I commute and physical "visit the location" for 2 min I don't offend the TOS. But it seems like they still don't allow it. The two parts of the answer from Topguest conflicts each other.

Another answer was that it makes no difference which application or service I use to sign-in. Hope to see soon how they manage the GPS information.

I just joined a few weeks ago. TopGuest says I have 150 Priority Club points and 150 Hilton HHonors points. So far, though, I have received 100 Priority Club points but 250 HHonors points.

Topguest has been notoriously buggy.

Beside the first sign-on, topguest didn't add any points. I use twitter and more or less sign in daily. I'm not talking about the transfer to the

Does anyone else has this issue? I'm not talking about the points added to my reward program, I talk about the page on topguest.com

I have been getting credit from TopGuest from Twitter posts with locations included without a problem.
I am also following TopGuest on Twitter, which allows them to read my twitter feed even though it is set to private so that may help with the " proper credit" issue some of you are having.

I think when they refer to "on your commute" they are talking about people checking in as they drive by. If you go into the lobby, you are factually "actually visiting the location" so they have no way of saying that violates the TOS. They specifically state that having a paid room at the location is not required, so they can't say that by just walking into the lobby you are violating TOS. I really think it's more about how many points you rack up in a given amount of time - there is absolutely no way for them to know if you are "actually visiting the location". If you do 20 check-ins a week ( as in every week day, across 4 chains), they're eventually going to suspend you, and ask you to "change your behavior" - which to me, reading between the lines, is telling you to stop getting so many points.
