only ONE CO 25k offer per customer?
So, went to Chase to apply for the Chase CO 25k offer. Did this in Oct 09 - received the 25k miles.
They reject the eCoupon submission. Banker gets message from backoffice stating that the offer is limited to one per customer. Where does it say that in the T&C? All it says is one rewards offer per customer, per calendar year. Anyone else having this problem? |

My experience has been one business and one personal account per year. Still have personal and business accounts open and just went in today and banker assured me my new business account opened today would get the miles (10k for $500+ first deposit and 15k for first use of new debit card)

I have noticed many ex-WAMU branches used to have the once per 12-month period promotions. Perhaps they are just not used to this promotion based on calendar year?
Last week, I successfully persuaded one of my co-workers to take advantage of the promotion before the end of 2009. As I expected, he said the banker had never seen this offer before. So I would speculate the knowledge of the banker in this promotion is minimal, if not none, and I would probably ask the banker to reread the coupon. |

Keeping my fingers crossed. |
I discovered what the problem was.
The eBonus code has changed on the CO website. Just go to the CO website OnePass offers, and get a new coupon there. I guess there is a slight difference in the first few digits. After getting the new coupon, it worked OK. |
For anyone opening a 2nd personal checking account
Did you cancel your first one before opening the 2nd?

Yes for the personal, but no for the business account. Opened Oct 1, so it was past the three months. Some bloggers have the old link posted - although the expiration date on that coupon has changed, the first few digits (which don't change when refreshing), hasn't. So, if you used someone's link, it may not work (if you did the promo in the previous calendar year). Basically, if you did the promo before, print the coupon through the CO website - here it is: http://www.continental.com/web/en-US...D31685530585E6 |

He can't close the first one until April unless he wants to risk Chase pulling out the miles from his CO account.
Also, do you get a pro-rated annual fee back when you cancel? Thanks |
